He also holds a license to practice
chiropractic in the State of New York.
Dr. Michalski has over 32 years in
practice and is one of the few doctors who have these sought
after qualifications.
Dr. Michalski was
listed as a Certified Second Opinion Examiner for the
Wisconsin Chiropractic Association; performing independent
medical examinations; where a dispute was reported either by
chiropractors, insurance carriers, attorneys and patients
for other doctors, at their request. While performing as a
second opinion Examiner, Dr. Michalski received over 110
hours of impairment (disability) training. Because of his
background in orthopedics and impairment rating he was
invited to be a member of the peer review committee for the
Wisconsin Chiropractic Association. This panel of doctors
and insurance lay person would review cases and render an
opinion based on their combined experience and specialties.
During that same era he was asked by the Secretary of the
Examining Board to be an examiner for the orthopedic portion
of the chiropractic entrance examination to be licensed and
practice Chiropractic in the state of Wisconsin. During this
time frame the Second Opinion Examiners were re-titled as
the Clinical Advisory Committee of the Wisconsin
Chiropractic Association and it was their obligation to
research new technology in the form of chiropractic
technique and/or instrumentation, electronic or mechanical,
and render a group opinion as to its efficacy as it relates
to patient health and well being. This included valuable
diagnostic instrumentation and physical modalities as in
electrical muscle stimulation along with others. This
information was then forwarded to the Board of Examiners for
approval and ultimately was placed into state law statutes
and made available to all chiropractors in the state of
Wisconsin.
Currently Dr.
Michalski is a member of the:
-
The Wisconsin
Chiropractic Association
-
The
Chiropractic Leadership Alliance
-

Dr. Michalski is a Diplomat of the

granted to be a Fellow of the American Board of Chiropractic
Orthopedists. This additional degree program requires a two
year full time residency program or five year part time to
complete at the National University of Health Sciences. This
also requires extensive classroom and examinations to become
eligible. Then additional exams are then required to be
granted this advanced status.
One of the adjustment techniques that
Dr. Michalski uses is the Activator Methods Chiropractic
Technique. He has held an Advanced Proficiency Rating in
this system of adjusting for over 19 years. This title
requires annual re-certification with a minimum of 12 class
room hours which includes theory and practical application
of the latest international research of this technique.
(Activator doctors from around the world submit their viable
technique developments to the headquarters and that in turn
is compiled and formatted for the re-certification
program.) This allows Doctor Michalski to get updates on all
the latest research and development in this chiropractic
technique. At the time he received this rating, less than
500 doctors in the world were at this level. Currently,
there are over 150,000 chiropractors that use this adjusting
technique in the world. As such, Dr. Michalski is considered
in the top 2% of all the chiropractors using this technique. |
